No statues honoring such terrible people in history should remain standing IMHO. It would be like leaving a statue of Hitler standing - no way Jose'! What I had in mind was using one of the palaces as a Mecca for Byzentine, Arab etc art. Maybe the other palaces could be sold to Disney - the sale proceeds and a portion of the go-forward tourist operating profits could go to the Iraqi people. Maybe some competition would come in and build a "Sand World Park" instead of "Sea World"). This could be the emerging land of opportunity. P
