if the Iraqi people truly have been oppressed by SH, there should be no issue with a gov't by the Iraqi people shunning the French without any help from us.

And you have to believe that the hardline taken by Israel kept SH from lobbing in a few scuds. The french and russians sure do have balls the size of montana thinking that they get to participate in the rebuilding.
