The Joint Chiefs even proposed using the potential death of astronaut John Glenn during the first attempt to put an American into orbit as a false pretext for war with Cuba, the documents show.

Project Northwoods was as corrupt as the Maine, but it will be interesting when investigative reporters like Bamford see the withheld documents re the 9/11 fiasco. No one has yet, in the greatest effort at stonewalling this administration has undertaken. With hundreds of witnesses, eventually someone will go "off the reservation". When that happens the gov't neocons will run for cover.
