Of course Gore-Lieberman would have taken out the Taliban.

Y'know, I doubt that. All Mr Clinton did in response to terrorist attacks was toss a few cruise missiles against the empty al Qaida training camps in Afghanistan, and I believe Mr Gore would have continued along the same lines. It is, after all, the only response he knew.

I also believe that Mr bin Laden expected that harmless little send-a-missile charade to continue after 9-11.

Mr Bush proved him wrong. And you should be thankful for that.
