I agree this recession (if you want to call it that, by definition it actually isnt, although for those of us heavily invested in techs its a DEPRESSION) is getting on the long side BUT you gotta admit we had ONE HELL OF A BUBBLE. I say this now freely admitting I was a dumb as the next person and didnt realize it would fall so fast and so far but now that my eyes are opened (with hindsight) I can clearly see Y2K was FAR MORE IMPORTANT then I realized even then. I now believe the entire world VASTLY OVERSPENT to prepare for Y2K and we are now paying the price. I still say this too shall pass. I doubt in my lifetime I will ever see the incredible gains I saw in late 90's and early 2,000's but I do feel we will return to prosperity. jdn
