Eric, IMO, the smartest guy out there playing the Canadian diamonds (apart from yourself of course)is Randy Turner and his Winspear Resources, the amount of $$money & credibility he walked away with is proof of that, not to mention taking on the biggest diamond company in the World and beating them at their own game.
The hardest working guy, guys playing the Canadian diamond game is without a doubt Chuck Fipke and then Stewart Blusson, their accomplishments speak for themselves.
the luckiest folks playing the Canadian diamond game are Grenvil Thomas and his daughter Eria.
the unluckiest folks playing the Canadian diamond game are the Ashton Canada people, try as they may, kimberlite pipe after pipe, after pipe no economics.
the most screwed over(other than yourself of course)is the shareholders of MPV Mountain Province Diamonds or Mining, victims of DeBeers internal modelling and adjusting the diamond values to fit their agenda which is still a mystery (their agenda).
the biggest potential, IMO, scam play out there is Twin Mining of Herman DeBauch sp.?, diamonds, gold, diamonds, gold...=paycheck.
the most creative Canadian diamond player out there is SouthernEra & Chris Jennings, if diamonds dont get it go to Platinum, if Canada can't produce go to Africa.
One to seriously think about is Metalex.......can Fipke repeat...?
with South Africa slowly self destructing from within and becoming just another African 3rd rate country.....Canada has a very, very promising future in the world of Diamond production.
