If Saddam or his sons/generals are still in control, the key battles won't occur for another week or so.

That post of March 22nd turned out to be quite accurate. Yesterday morning, I posted that if Saddam was killed or captured we should get at least another 50 Nasdaq points. Turns out by chance later that day it was reported that he very well might have been killed, but it sure doesn't look like we'll get much of a bump from it.

My timing model went from 25% short to 50% short effective the open today. Perhaps the lack of market excitement about the recent great progress in the war and the likelihood Saddam is gone from this earth is a further indication that there is not much more room to the upside for awhile.
