I am a little disappointed with the earnings release - even considering the pre-announcement of bad news. The loss for the quarter basically negates any profits the Company has made over the last 2 years. Additionally, their balance sheet still looks soft even after the large write-offs taken in this quarter, and indicates that losses will follow in this last quarter. Monarch sales just have not taken off like I thought they would, and I really don't understand why(Definitely, a marketing problem). Maybe they should consider packaging Monarch with an Office suite group of products. Corel, Lotus or Microsoft could really find a gem! This is a product that should be used by the masses similar to a Excel, Lotus, or Quattro-Pro. At these levels, I guess I'll sit & wait for the stock to run-up on speculation of a new Monarch release that should be coming out in Sept 98 - will probably have beefed up Web support. Until then I believe the pain will continue.
