The crackdown on the press uses Arnett (not Geraldo mind you because he's Fox) as a symbol they want to crucify as a "traitor". The real intent is to scare the mainstream press into writing anything critical of Bush. This is indeed a mild stealth gestapo tactic, something we haven't seen in this country since the McCarthy era. Arnett made a bad mistake but supression of the press is what he's being used for now. It may boomerang back into Bushies faces soon.
