Saddam is either dead or finished. Either way, it's a mop-up now. We will control Baghdad and the entire country within days. Anyone who resists is just a suicidal idiot.

Now Bush has no excuse to hide behind war to divert attention from his domestic failures. The debate can begin in earnest. Like Afghanistan slid to the back pages of the newspapers within a week of our victory there, so will Iraq. And then we can ask ourselves? What are our real problems as a country we have to deal with? And how best to deal with them before they get worse?

As for counter-terrorism, that's a bi-partisan issue everyone supports. Let's wait and pray there are no bigf reprisals from whatever's left of Al Qaida. If they dont respond, then the main part of the war on terror is won. At least for now. We can all stop being so paranoid just take common sense precautions, gtuadr our borders better and get back to making America prosperous again.
