Your example of Germany is perfect. Since the government was defeated the collaborators were off the hook.
Well, firstly, whose would you be on? I ask because I think you miss the point... that IMO the act of a patriot is not blind support for whichever madman or moron is leading your country down the wrong path.
Secondly, the collaborators weren't 'off the hook', they were executed... 1944, I said.
I seriously doubt you and your friends will be successful in bringing down the American government.
Well, since I don't have a vote in the US, I doubt it too. But I'm hopeful that Bush's complete f*ckup of the economy (and complete lack of success at anything worthwhile) will be visible to more of your people next year... if not, well you'll be the losers.
That's assuming there is still voting allowed in the US next year, of course.
Freedom of Speech, hell yes. But not freedom of sedition and collaboration. ... Don't try to undermine the government and troops.
Again I remind you, we're on an internet bulletin board. And thinking and saying that your country should not be unilaterally declaring war on anyone it doesn't like is not sedition, in any venue.
