I ran the pitstop on my other computer (WIN98)and it is telling me to change some settings that are already set at what they recommend. One red flag they sent me was:
Outlook Express is not using the Restricted zone for viewing email messages that contain HTML and script content. If you receive an email message that contains script code, it may be able to harm your system.
I checked and the "restricted sites zone" is checked. The other is a red flag warning on my IE:
Your current Internet Explorer settings for the Restricted Sites security zone could expose your PC to intrusion. We recommend that you disable all scripting, ActiveX controls, and cookies for the Restricted Sites zone.
Here too I have "disable" checked where they say to.
I'm wondering how valid an instrument this pitstop is if it is red flagging things that it shouldn't be. Anyone else notice this? By the way, it didn't red flag these two items on my other computer, and both have duplicate settings.
