QualComm "buy" 04/08/2003 Wachovia Securities NEW YORK, April 8 (New Ratings) - Analyst Roberts of Wachovia Securities issues a "buy" rating on Qualcomm Inc (QCOM). In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the Russian Federation has approved CDMA as its standard for 450 Mhz network licenses. This approval is likely to introduce CDMA to a significant market of nearly 160 million subscribers, adds the analyst. The analysts are, however, currently unable to predict how the Russian CDMA market would impact Qualcomm. newratings.com
