If France, Russia and Germany had really cared "a fig" about Iraqi citizens, they would have done something about it long LONG ago. They even tried to sabotage the US at the UN.

I bet the US military is glad it can go about the Iraq campaign without obstruction by inferior allied armies. I have read an article that some friendly fire incidents involving British vehicles were caused by an insufficient compatibility between the US and British friend/foe recognition systems.

But instead, these 3 countries not only sold weapons of all sorts to Saddam, in addition have the largest oil conracts with the former dictator of Iraq...

Karen, this is an FAQ which has been addressed many, many times on the thread. France and Russia have been major weapon suppliers to Iraq but not Germany, see for instance #reply-18779907 #reply-18780439 #reply-18800882
