The Iraqis should have taken care of their own long ago. You just don't understand the neighborhood. Until you do, you will continue to think we are saviors when in fact we are simply moving the garbage around.


Well, then you and I have simply have a legitimate difference of opinion. You obviously believe that we should not have gotten involved in stopping Hitler. I think it was a legitimate role for our military. I think it is naive to suggest that the Iraqi people should have just solved this problem on their own; it isn't quite that simple; when a tyrant has all the money, he can afford to kill anyone who looks at him funny.

While I disagree with you on this, I think you're certainly entitled to hold that opinion.
