Already reports of civilian deaths and destruction that are being reported in the foreign media are conspicuously absent from U.S. TV screens. We encourage you to look for diverse news sources during this time and to share the information you find with your friends, co-workers and family. You can read eyewitness reports from members of Voices in the Wilderness at the new website Electronic Iraq. British journalist Robert Fisk is also reporting from Baghdad for the London Independent. For information about civilian casualties, go to the Iraq Body Count website. Humanitarian organizations are also good sources of information. Check the Doctors Without Borders and International Red Cross websites for information about the human cost of war.
