No. It's all but impossible to get rid of any laws. You may recall we recently discussed Virginia's sodomy laws. I'd bet there are still laws outlawing spittoons on the books. I haven't seen a spittoon in nearly fifty years. <g>

But I think they can be changed over time. I can imagine in another generation they might allow restaurants to permit smoking with a permit. And I wouldn't be surprised if affirmative action swings this way and that until it becomes moot. Sooner or later it will be largely irrelevant.
