Let's see, those "million" were right after the CIA led coup put Saddam in power so we could supply him with arms and chemical weapons to fight Iran and Kurds for the next 8 years, and with every chemical attack there was a US "observer" along to see how well our weapons of mass destruction worked in the field. No, I don't think that's something which should be ignored.
