Who said it was? Definitely not new. And definitely NOT SMART in Iraq, right now, in the face of the world's Muslims who are already agitated that another Muslim country is being invaded.

What influence do I imagine the US wants?

I do not think the US wants to convert Muslims to Christianity. However, this is the impression most Muslims will get if thousands of missionaries are unleashed in post-war Iraq with this very purpose. This is a bad idea. It is also very stupid, if you are trying to win the "hearts and minds" of Iraqis and Muslims of the world in general.

Are you answering imaginary questions and comments? Because I have not said anything that your statements could be relevant to.

Here, take a look:

Unleashing missionaries on Iraq is a Very Bad Idea. I cannot think of a better way to antagonize not only the Muslims in Iraq but all around the world. They will be convinced beyond doubt that the US is attacking Islam, that they have to fight the US for their religion.

I don't know what they are feeding you people if this sounds like a good idea to you. Frankly, I cannot think of a better way to fuel Islamist terrorism against all Americans anywhere on this planet, if not all-out WWIII.
