You're making assumptions ....

It amazes me that it is the liberals, anti-war or anti-America crowds that basically seems to say Iraqis are not capable of developing and running a country on their own.

It's really an outlook rife with arrogance.

I believe they are more than capable, if given the chance which they have not had in 30 years and, given time.

Why not change your quote to ...

"So one un-elected authority wil be replaced by a government comprised of Iraqis representing varied interests in Iraq society."

Be optimistic, it's always easy to dismiss optimism.
