I didn't think you were proposing they do so -- I just couldn't see any benefit whatsoever to Turkey to invade at this time.

They chose to support us early on, then reneged (possibly due to our French "friends), so I don't think they want a confrontation with coalition forces at this juncture.

Turkey has a major problem -- it's economy is weak and GW seems to play hardball when it comes to extortion. Turkey lost the $20B removed from the table by GW; and now are promised $2B (if memory serves me) and loan guarantees of $8B -- which is actually a gift that will never be repaid.
