If you have profits why wait to close then and risk it for pure uncertanties.

No funding could be seen in different ways, one is nobody wants the company product risks, the company does not like $5 to $10 million help ( but they did like it from overseas ) or the company is very certain of what they have in hand and later strong position.

A chance of 60% from a sposor is extremely cautious. Maybe this sponsor is dealing with reality and that is a good sign.

The speculation is now at full throtle and there is chance of making money (my style if I believe in the science a lot). But the sure money is in whatever run 'till the day of release, after that only the cavalier with deep pockets and willing for the worse can tolerate 'till the end.

Remember that news are now usually before or after trading, if one has access to 3rd market trading (like the big mutuals) then no problem. I have to deal with the truth of trading after the dip, not even in between.

GCSF and GMCSF will not be big competitors if this Betafectin works. They can accomodate each other very easily. Another product in that category is Xoma's BPI (much better science and much better type two study).

Anyway company was nice enough to give dates, if money is made based on that good for the beholder.
