>>coalition forces desire to minimize civilian casualties.<<

Huey, just out of curiousity, which country's troops make up the "coalition", and in what numbers?

If the men and women were so courageous, why didn't they dispatch some troops to take this building in a residential neighborhood, if they thought Saddam might be there, instead of a B-1 bomber with bunker busters. Certainly they have decisively "taken" other structures including the airport, and the Presidential palace in Baghdad.

They thought long and hard about it too. The bomber was there 45 minutes after the so-called intelligence was provided.

This is "killing flies with a sledgehammer" stuff.
