I'm sure we could go back and forth a lot on this one. But, I believe it will be Bush's ability to create jobs from this point forward that will make or break his re-election hopes. As the months go by, it will be harder and harder to put up an argument that the bubble is the reason for continued malaise. Bush has got to get some advisors who will come up with a plan to pull us out of this funk. Instead of "It's the economy, stupid", it will be "It's about jobs". To continue to accumulate the expenses of war when we are not in a war economy will quickly drag us down like an anchor.
