Re:Clinton--- Do you remember this SOB signing a law giving the military a raise during Gores 2000 campaign for President,to gain the military vote for Gore, the only raise they received during his administration? The lowly GI lived in hovels and had to go on welfare to survive during his tenure. Shame
President Bush has given the military two pay increases I know of, plus a huge upgrade in military housing. He has also pushed through the largest increase in funds for the VA medical system, also a large increase for VETS the VA system that attempts to increase veteran employment. Clinton helped balance his budget on the back of the military and huge tax increases.
