Hawk,

Yeah, there's nothing like a UN committee to really f*up what at best will be very chaotic.

Now that order is completely collapsed, my feeling is that only a no-nonsense strong-man rule can work for a few months.

Now the hard part. With all the looting, are US soldiers going to fire on the looters ? Will they allow armed police to restore order ? Or will they just let the looting continue ? Each of these options is very dangerous.

Whoever is appointed to that job, I wish him wisdom and luck.
