Because right now the primary trend is sideways, not down and not up. Shorting is trading and I'm going to buy pieces of companies to own..... that might be why. As far as shorting........ I know of a guy who has been shorting the internets.... hasn't made a dime this year......... only losses as he keeps moving up his shorts. He's hoping to cover at break even. Try telling him to short more. What is it you suggest shorting and at what price? TA
