Earnings growth.

That impled earnings growth is staggering!
I have not really considered the market that way, being more technically inclined.

During the Bull all the analysts underestimated:
End of year price targets.
Revenue and earnings growth. (admittedly these are now being proved as false).
It seems that they are overestimating these for the last 3 years.

One of the most surprising fundy facts (to me) is the statement that US corporate pretax profits and also IRS corporate tax receipts peaked in 1997, and that the whole 1998-2000 rally Uncle Sam got less money out of corporates.

I think that we will see something opposite to this when we get to the other end.
