Do you know if there would be a legal issue with US forces stopping and searching a diplomatic convoy in a warzone?

can't tell from the story whether they were or they weren't. The Russians say they weren't there, so naturally they can't say that the files were seized.

Reading between the lines, it appears to me that they may well have been. But as we all know, the CIA doesn't comment on what they are doing.

You think, if the convoy was in possession of the archives, that the CIA seized them?
