My academic friends had sheltered backgrounds. They thought "proper process" was important.

I respect many who called for proper process. They presented thoughtful arguments. Some, however, used this as a dodge to oppose an administration they hated or a country they despised and some are just opposed to taking on a difficult task. It's this last group that I consider to be cowards.
