As a liberal from a time when liberalism could be sensible, I am highly offended at the silence of the Left on the liberation of 25 million Iraqis. As usual, the liberals are more concerned about their political aspirations than they are the fundamentals of liberalism.

In the words of his father, read my lips: liberals don't like Bush for many good reasons. From the butchering of environmental laws to his stealing the election to his encouraging a national day of religious fasting to his desire for pre-emptive strikes on other countries, he is the most unAmerican president in the history of this nation. He is putting the Union in great danger.

The silence from the Left is deafening for good reason.
