CB, Turkey's prime motivation is preventing an uprising amongst it's own Kurdish population which might lead to an alliance between them and the Iraq Kurds. I don't see Turkey doing anything other than take some reasonable action to protect themselves. I have no fear of an aggressive Turkey. The US has to suck up the diplomatic defeat in Turkey. It is too important a relationship now to indulge in cheap payback. Cheap payback is France's job. Paul
