You know what I like the most about this war?

Reaction to it shows that the "average American" (please forgive the generality) actually understands the truth when it is presented to him or her. Some understand more than others, some take longer than others, but it's clear that they do. Regardless of petty political yammering by "leaders" and people who claim to speak for them and don't, people in this country really do have good in their hearts. They respond when someone says they are going to do something good and then does the right thing for the right reason instead of lying and engaging in complex cabals and skullduggery.

I believe the rest of the people in the world, when allowed to, to whatever greater or lesser extent, can also actually see the truth, despite attempts to twist it by self-serving a-holes.

It's quite heartening. It gives me hope.
