A few interesting sites for alternate news and opinion. A big concern of mine is the increasing consolidation of media into just a few conglomerates. Anyway just passing these along in case they might be of interest. The internet is one of the more convenient ways to get "the big picture": talkingpointsmemo.com fair.org (features Norman Solomon, a rare independent media critic) newstatesman.com Drudge is fast on breaking news, drudgereport.com but the section I find most useful are all the links to the British press..for example the Independent: independent.co.uk informationclearinghouse.info
