Elcor is my pick. I use Elk Prestique Plus on 80% of the houses I build. I have had to order the roofing materials very far in advance because the company was so backlogged. They have a new plant in California that has past the break-even point and they are beginning to step up production to meet the demand. Sales and earnings are growing at a good pace.

My roofer gave me a heads up on this last year. I wish I would have listened to him. The stock has moved up nicely. But I still think that there is the potential for this to be a 3-bagger for the next 5-7 years.

Elk Prestique was rated in the middle range in Consumer's Reports recently. However it was one of the highest rated roofing materials for the price. It is very affordable and popular.
