<<<Wonder what effect this had on their refusal to join us in this trumped-up invasion?>>>

By the tenor of the Security Council negotiations, and in the language of diplomatic double speak, they flat out said the whole thing was a crock, and they knew exactly what happened. The real question is whether or not anyone has the foresight to fully expose what happened, and force the necessary public investigation, before it's too late to plunge the world into nuclear war.

The downside is our country is likely to remain in the dog house for sometime to come as far as foreign relations are concerned, but the upside is America still has at least some chance to reclaim our honor, exorcize the most corrupt elements of our government (although that might not be considered an upside to certain factions), and prevent a war likely to result in cockroaches being the highest life form on the planet. In the long run our only real option is to take our medicine and put America back together as a nation based on the principals on which it was founded.

What would really be nice would be to see the UN require a full investigation into 9/11 before playing the chump to any more Bush-Mossad scams. It would be a diplomatic coup for anyone who pulled it off.
