This too makes me somewhat uneasy. If we pre-emptively strike another nation, we better be damn sure that nation posed a threat to our security or that of our allies. If it turns out Saddam didn't have the WMDs that we claim he had, we'll be paying for this one big time.

Three times today I have heard we don't enough troops in Iraq to deal with the collapse of Saddam. Now I just heard that the Royal Marines are going home at the end of the month. Meanwhile, the Iraqis are drunk on freedom and the criminal element are coming to the surface. Can you imagine 30 years of pent up desires suddenly released? According to those familiar with the country, the killings of the Shiite ayatollahs today was a major setback........I still can't believe they were hacked to death. What kind of people hack their religious leaders to death?

Which leads me to some new questions.....who will police the new Iraq in the next year? Who's going to pay for it? Are our troops going to be stuck over there indefinitely? Even if we do find WMD, the American people are going to pay dearly for this war.
