Is a 100, 200, 300 .. ? innocent Iraqi lives (collateral damage) worth one Saddam life, that people here think is worth nothing and I wholeheartedly agree....
Point taken. But how would suggest Saddam should have been stopped?

If we had gone into Iraq in the '80s, would we not have gotten the same complaints that we get now about "unilateral action"? And if not, why not? If it's wrong now, then it would have been wrong then.

coug, this war is the completion of Gulf War I. It was, gawd knows why, left imcomplete with SH still in power. GB 41 screwed up big time on that one. Now we straighten it out.

Personally, I think most of the Iraqis will prove to be decent people who want to live a decent, peaceful life given the chance. Now they will get that chance.
