VISHAY AND ESI READY PASSIVE INSPECTION -- Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. to share and jointly develop advanced production equipment for the manufacture of passive components. Initial focus of the collaboration will be automated machine vision inspection for multilayer ceramic capacitors. Vishay: 610 644-1300; ESI: 503 671-5446.
