Personally, I hope we register a strong diplomatic protest at the Kurdish takeover of Kirkuk, and send in a few special forces troops to 'oversee' the situation (while the Kurds basically set up the government). Come to think of it, that is very well what we may be doing...serve the Turks right.

Diplomatic protest to who ? Kurds or Turks ? I was not clear on your statement. The Kurds aren't a nation, so I'm guessing thats not what u had in mind.
