Right now, I'm embarrassed to say that I am mostly in speculations and cash. I normally have about half my portfolio in specs and half in microcap value.
My main current specs are WED, HHO and GLE. I bought WED speculating that their iFire flat panel will generate some press later this year. It is starting to come alive, giving me 14% to date.

HHO and GLE trade below cash and are ripe for press-generating take-overs; each also has a compelling event coming up within the next few months. HHO should report soon on the success of their Hong Kong project, leading to more work. I'm up 50% on HHO and am waiting for more press.

GLE just got taken out in a stock for cash deal that may sour my chances for a double, but I'm up 30%. Within a few months, GLE should be reporting on the performance of its fuel cells placed with Enbridge, and on another fuel cell project for U.S. customers.

I've been too busy lately to find value stocks in which to park the cash component. It is a lot harder to investigate a value stock than to guess a speculation's probability of success. TIM looks like a possibility. RNO is another. On the other hand, I might just forego value and buy more WED.
