one only has to ask when they are as ignorant of the facts as you are. people who are well acquainted with the history of the arab/israeli conflict understand quite well that israel would never have achieved such success in war without US military backing. israel would have lost the yom kippur war had it not been for an emergency airlift of weapons and supplies authorized by nixon.
