I respect your need for anonymity. I wasn't questioning your identity, I just had a comment that I didn't think was appropriate for the board and was hoping you'd email me. :)
I've printed your comments regarding USR, DELL, etc. for my archives. As I understand it, telcos will control both ends of the market for quite awhile.
Your hopes for Amati mirror my own and I have little doubt someday we'll be saying, "Remember when. . . ."
There's a strange dynamic regarding "upstarts." It's okay for an established company to have a come-back, but not for the new kid on the block to have preternatural success.
Amazing, too, how quickly some of these now powerful companies forget their roots.
At any rate, today was a good start.
