The good news is, that people are not looting each others houses. If that happens, its an ugly situation. Been there, seen that

That seems to be the case.. The dispossessed and poor engaging in strategic reallocation of economic assets.. :0)

And it keeps them from thinking about killing Americans, or perceiving them as "the heavies" laying down the law.

I am concerned about the seeming lack of planning with regard to restoring civil order. And all of this CONTINUING in-fighting between DOD and DOS about who will be the lead agency for rebuilding Iraq should have been resolved the day the invasion started.

It has the potential of making it VERY difficult for US forces to create stability once they enter a SASO phase.
