Hi g_t

I use Orton cones.
That is all I've ever known
I'm pretty sure they created the standard back in the 40s or '50s.

You can order them from just about any ceramics supply house.
With the exception of raw chemicals(purchased semi locally) I get most my supplies From Axner(http://axner.com/) out of Fla.
since cones are relatively light and small, I doubt shipping charges would amount to much if you can't find a closer place to you.

Just did a quick search on their site.
Here is the page on cones pottery-books.com

I'm assuming you use the cones in the reclaiming process for gold, if I'm correct
I'd enjoy learning a bit about your process and anything that would likely be of interest to me.
