I would expect them to love the reallocation of assets to the poor...and without IRS involvement.

But on the serious side, we need to see some measure of civil order restored within a week or so, or we're going to find Syria and Iran gaining ground on sowing turmoil and disorder.. It's very much in their interest to make the restabilization of Iraq as difficult as possible, in order to tie up US resources and subvert our credibility.

And these police forces need to know the local language and customs, so it would behoove us to get the local Arab states to all volunteer police personnel to advise and oversee the creation of a new Iraqi police force.

Bush and Blair have been on Iraqi TV with their messages regarding freedom. But now they need to open it up to local leaders and authorities to spread the message that the looting has to stop and individuals must be responsible for their own conduct so that humanitarian assistance can arrive. This should send the message of "if they want to eat, they'd better start behaving themselves" and acting in an orderly manner.

Obviously I know this is a long-shot.. but since we have their television network under our control, we need to start using it to educate the people what their role is to be in the rebuilding of Iraq.

And I'm disturbed that we don't seem to ALREADY have such programming ready for airplay.
