mixed sentiments Agreed. There is some (small?) chance that their stuff might help, but let them wait for a PR until they have some evidence that it does. It's not yet clear whether the major lung damage is from the virus itself or from the immune system's attempts to deal with the virus. The fact that steroids seem to help hints that the latter might be part of the problem. If so, immune stimulants might be a double-edged sword. (Just thinking out loud here from a pretty uninformed position). More articles today saying that ribavirin doesn't work, based purely on the in vitro tests. But as I said previously, ribavirin has lots of effects on the immune system, so the fact that it doesn't work in vitro doesn't mean it won't help in people. Peter
