Will the real url please stand up?

One of the frustrations I often encounter when searching with Google, which mostly I love, is that the search phrase that is found in the results is nowhere to be found on the web page indicated. This is especially perplexing when the displayed search result text excerpt is just what I'm looking for.

Any ideas on how I can find the text excerpt hidden in the maze of web pages that probably contain it, somewhere below the main url Google referenced? IE find text function only works on the currently loaded page, as far as I know. I've almost never found it within the labyrinth of sub-pages on my own however.

Googlers, can you help me?

Esteban
