Techie - You need to be a little more realistic if you expect us to buy in to your ideas.

As my previous visit to the thread made it clear, I don't think ADSL will be deployed until the end of 98 at best. I won't consider 1-2k lines deployment.

1-2k lines? Your motives are becoming more apparent. I see the first deployments small but not that small, perhaps 10K - 20K and that's 3Q-4Q 97.

If first deployment numbers are not 10 times what you quote, then I will cease believing your second or third aka is "ma", and I will stop touting DMT! >>> That's a heavy wager for JW@KSC.

With GTE and others getting ready to announce first deployments, we should not have to wait very long to see which of us is right.

When it comes to telcos & ADSL I personally would pay attention to what Mike Angelo has to say. Techie

Overall you are trying to draw a distorted view of Amati and it's partnerships, as many here have proved tonight.

I appreciate your posting of the first call, but like a guy baiting unsuspecting kids with candy, I'm keepng my distance.
