It was not a political platform for Tim Robbins or the president of the Hall of Fame.

If these celebrities (who really have no standing to have a louder voice than the rest of us) want to have a platform to shove their uninformed, incompetent opinions down the throats of an unsuspecting populace, it seems only fair that they should suffer the consequences of their own stupidity.

Excuse me, but Robbins and Saradon are citizens of the United States. You need to show some respect. If they have a larger platform, its because they earned it. And if you think being a celebrity is all glamour and riches, think again.

Besides, Rep. politicians have been "shoving down" there biased and often incorrect views on an unsuspecting populace for over two years now.

If they can't stand the heat they ought to stay out of the kitchen. These people are given an ultra-large platform to speak out about subjects on which they're largely ignorant. This is not a case of not being able to stand the heat; in what is normally an apolitical environment, these people are being penalized for stating their views. That is decidedly unAmerican and an embarrassment, and its being perpetuated by a former Reaganite. Why am I not surprised!
